  • Beeswax – 1 Tablespoon
  • Hilurlip – 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Argan oil – 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Cocoa butter – 1/2 Tablespoon
  • Essential oil – 2 drops ( lavender, clary sage, rose geranium or any other that does not irritate lips)

Also you can double or triple the quantities if you want to make big batches.

  • The first thing you have to do is to melt beeswax and cocoa butter. If you want to make vegan lip balm then you can substitute beeswax with some vegan wax like rice bran, sunflower wax or candelilla wax etc.
  • Add your wax and cocoa butter in a heat safe container and melt them using double boiling method
  • Then remove the container from heat once melted
  • Add argan oil and mix, let it cool a bit
  • Then add hilurlip and essential oil
  • Mix evenly
  • Pour the mixture in a clean container.
