INGREDIENTS :

  1. Shea butter – 3 tbsp
  2. Coconut oil – 2 tbsp
  3. Aloe vera gel – 2 tsp
  4. Sweet Almond Oil – 1 tbsp
  5. Lavender essential oil – 5 drops
  6. Chamomile essential oil – 5 drops
  7. Unscented Baby Castile Soap – 1 tsp
  8. Arrowroot powder – 1 tsp ( to avoid greasiness )

DIRECTIONS :

  1. In a bowl add shea butter and coconut oil
  2. Melt them using double boiling method
  3. Remove the bowl from heat and let the ingredients cool for few minutes
  4. Add aloe vera gel, almond oil, essential oils and castile soap, then mix everything
  5. Keep the bowl in the refrigerator for 20-25 minutes, to make it a little solid
  6. Remove the bowl, Whip this mixture with a hand mixer, this turns it into a fluffy, creamy butter that spreads like a dream.
  7. Add arrowroot powder gradually and whip
  8. Now take a clean jar and add your shaving butter
  9. Your homemade shaving butter is ready.

  1. Wet your skin where you want to shave
  2. Then take some shaving butter in your hand
  3. Apply on the area you want to shave
  4. Use your razor in the opposite direction of hair
  5. Then rinse with water and done.
